Tempe, Arizona – The Coalition for a Connected West (CCW) is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring two (2) one-time scholarships each in the amount of one-thousand dollars ($1000) to deserving local college students. Applicants must submit a 15-90 second video on "Technology and everyday life."

"The CCW is passionate about educating the public about how innovation and technology can greatly improve our lives, one way to do that is to have people teach each other," said CCW Executive Director Tony Bradley "This challenge provides a great opportunity for students to win a scholarship while telling their own story about technology and everyday life."

The mission of the Coalition for a Connected West is to educate consumers and policy makers about emerging communications issues; promote policies that foster competition and innovation, and result in more consumer choice, access to technology, lower prices and better service; and serve as a voice for consumers on communications issues at the state and local level.
